I'm Rachael (a.k.a. Talimeeka). I'm a 16-year-old Floridian geek. I love books, movies, and indie music. I'm obsessed with Harry Potter, LOST, LotR, graphics, icons, hobbits, Death Cab, music, my iPod, movies, books, LJ...need I go on?



I became interested in computer art and graphics in early 2004. I began by making some really crappy icons on Paint and posting them in the LJ community hp_icons. In the summer of 2004 I decided I wanted to improve my icon making skills and downloaded a Photoshop trial. I was hooked on graphics. Soon I began to expand by making not only icons, but banners and wallpaper. I also began entering blend challenges and won a few awards. After my trial ran out I decided that I loved graphics so much that I tried PSP and Animation Shop, which I later bought. I finally decided that I wanted a central place to post my icons so I started this icon journal.

I mainly make icons, but I also make banners and wallpapers. I like to base my stuff on books, movies, music, and celebirties. Although you'll find a variety of fandoms etc. here I mainly make stuff from Harry Potter and Lost because that's what I like best.
